What the School Says
Maranatha’s academic philosophy combines a Bible college environment with a liberal arts focus. Students take 30 hours of Bible and 40 hours of liberal arts in addition to program requirements. Maranatha is regionally accredited.
Maranatha's four master of arts degree programs are designed to inculcate a comprehensive knowledge of theology and to equip you with interpretive skills for lifelong ministry and personal spiritual growth. Baptist fundamentalism and leadership skills for local church ministry are emphasized.
The graduate program is flexible, allowing those in full-time ministry to complete the degree through one-week modules. Some semester-long and Internet courses are also offered. Students may take classes as guests. See the schedule for the syllabus and upcoming courses.
